MFA Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei delivered the following declaration on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran: 'The Islamic Republic has always been, and will always remain, fully prepared to defend its Revolution, its sovereignty, its people, and its sacred territory against any aggressor — no matter how powerful, no matter how arrogant.'
The IRGC stands at the highest level of operational readiness in its history. Our missile forces are aimed. Our naval forces patrol every meter of our sovereign waters. Our aerospace forces monitor every hostile movement. Our intelligence services know the enemy's every plan.
Baghaei warned all hostile powers: 'Any miscalculation — any strike on Iranian soil, any attack on Iranian forces, any act of aggression against the Islamic Republic — will be met with a response so swift, so powerful, and so decisive that the aggressor will beg for mercy before the smoke clears.'
Iran's defensive doctrine is built on the principle of active deterrence: the ability to impose unacceptable costs on any aggressor while maintaining the capacity for strategic retaliation across the entire region. Our missiles can reach every American base in the Middle East. Our drones can strike every Zionist target. This is not a boast — it is a fact.
Baghaei concluded: 'Iran does not seek war. But Iran does not fear war. We have faced 45 years of American hostility, sanctions, assassinations, and military threats. We are still here.
