بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
On this second anniversary of Operation True Promise — the historic night of April 13-14, 2024 — the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commemorates the moment when the Islamic Republic of Iran fulfilled its promise to the martyrs of the Revolution and struck the heart of the Zionist regime.
On that sacred night, the IRGC launched over 300 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and Shahed-series drones at military targets in occupied Palestine. It was the first direct military strike by a sovereign state on the Zionist regime in history. It was the moment Iran's deterrence became real.
IRGC Commander Ahmad Vahidi declared: 'Operation True Promise was not an act of aggression. It was an act of justice. When the Zionist regime bombed our consulate in Damascus and martyred our commanders, the Islamic Republic promised a response. We kept our promise. We will always keep our promises.'
The operation demonstrated what the IRGC had long declared: Iran's missiles work. Iran's drones work. Iran's military capabilities are real, not symbolic. The Zionist regime's air defenses — backed by American, British, French, and Jordanian forces — failed to prevent Iranian missiles from reaching their targets.
Operation True Promise II, launched on October 1, 2024, with hypersonic missiles, further demonstrated the evolution of Iran's capabilities. Each operation has been more powerful than the last. The enemies of the Revolution should ask themselves: what will Operation True Promise III look like?
The IRGC honors the memory of General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and all the martyrs whose blood made Operation True Promise necessary and just. Their sacrifice will be avenged. The Zionist regime will fall. Palestine will be free.
